The central point is the historic Old Town, where the bell tower of the Petri-Pauli-Church draws everyone’s attention. Around it meander narrow little streets lined with mostly typical buildings of the Weser Renaissance. Not far from our hotel the spa and landscape park is waiting with numerous animal and plant species on a visit. In the lower part of the park is a historical model built, formerly occupied for salt extraction graduation. Bad Münder is embedded by the two 400-meter-high mountain ranges Deister and Süntel in Weserbergland. Cyclists, for example can plan on a 100-kilometer route around the Deister individual day trips according to your requirements. For hikers the 20 km long Bergmannsweg is a paradise for hikers.
Who the trip from the day before is still in its bones, find relaxation in the not distant from the hotel Ith-Sole-Therme in Salzhemmendorf. A trip to the world famous Hameln or in just a few minutes’ drive away Springe, the city with the longest monument in Lower Saxony, are worthwhile. In only about 30 km north-eastern city of Hannover for example, you can stroll through the popular Herrenhausen Gardens.
